UPDATE: Man, Girlfriend Arrested for Killing Dog in Genesee County

Jessica Brown, 18, and Jason McCue, 21, have been arraigned in the death of a dog that was found with its feet and mouth bound with electrical tape.

They were in court yesterday via video from the Genesee County jail, facing one felony charge each for killing and torturing an animal.

It's reported that the woman's mother actually called them in, citing her concern for her grandchildren. That takes a LOT of guts. Kudos, mom.
