TX Couple Accused of Leaving Daughter at Home to Attend Concert in Detroit [VIDEO]

Parenting at its finest. A Texas couple is facing legal trouble after leaving their 11-year-old daughter home alone while they traveled to Detroit for a concert.

Police say they tried for several hours to contact John Guerrero and Virginia Yearnd, and by the time they got ahold of them, the couple was in Louisiana.

The couple claims they were expecting a relative to check on the girl during their absence.

According to Detroit's WXYZ, Texas law states that child endangerment is when a person intentionally engages in conduct that places a child younger than 15 in danger.

The minor girl is currently staying with a neighbor while her parents navigate through their legal trouble.
