After a night of heavy drinking, he did the responsible thing and found another ride home, planning to pick his car up when he was sober.

The next day he began his search for the car, but never found it. Eventually, he was forced to declare the car missing. Almost two years later, police found the car. It was parked more than two miles from where he thought he left it. His finding the car also meant that he "found" the $51,000 in tools that were inside it.
