Two Area Children Rushed to Hurley After Being in a Hot Car in Fenton [VIDEO]
Two area children are expected to make a full recovery after being left in a hot car in Fenton. The 2-year-old boy and 4-month-old infant were rushed to Hurley Medical Center, after residents of Georgetown Park apartments helped the boys' great-grandmother break the car window.
The woman tells ABC-12 that she accidentally locked her keys in the vehicle while buckling the children in.
Brothers Chris Hasman and Jeremy Clark used a hammer to break out a window.
"The infant started convulsing and having seizure-like symptoms so we decided we had to bust out that window," said Hasman.
The boys' great-grandmother says police believe the incident was an accident.
