In a video uploaded to YouTube in 2016, a trucker who was stopped on an interstate due to an accident delivers a poignant (albeit vulgar) message about the dangers of distracted driving.

According to the truck driver, a teenager who was headed east was texting and driving. Her car crossed the median and collided with two westbound vehicles in rural South Dakota.

We hear about this all the time. My stepson is employed as a tractor-trailer driver and regularly shares horror stories about life on the road, observing an alarming number of people whose faces are buried in their phones while behind the wheel. His message echoes this truck driver's rant nearly word for word.

"The moral of the story, pull your f---ing heads out of your a--es and stop using your phones on the highway while you're going at breakneck speed."
