Top Thrill Dragster Will Reopen Today After Cable Detached Sunday

The Top Thrill Dragster was closed yesterday after a launch cable detached during operations on Sunday evening.

No one was seriously injured when the cable detached on the Top Thrill Dragster Sunday, but two guests were taken to the medical tent, later to be returned to the park. The ride was closed for repair and inspection yesterday. Fox 8 in Cleveland is reporting that inspections went well, and the ride will reopen today. Tony Clark, a spokesman for Cedar Point says that safety is their number one priority.
