Today is “National Relaxation Day”
Today is National Relaxation Day. Hold the phone, take a nap, go fishing. August 15 is set aside to get people to relax and try to reduce stress in their lives. I don't know about you, but it seems like this deserves more than just one day!
If you are stressed at work or in your life, a simple way to unwind is to just find a quiet place where you can turn off your smartphone and other electronic slavery devices and just breathe deep for a little while. If you can do with outdoors, even better.
I try to take a nap before I come to work every day. Even if it's only 20 minutes, it seems to help. It's something we should all strive for, a little peace in our lives every day. Here's hoping that you find some!
