Today is National ‘Eat What You Want’ Day. What’ll You Have?

Too bad I didn’t know about this until the day was almost over. Today is National Eat What You Want Day. I eat healthy foods most of the time, but every now and again I like to splurge. The photos probably tipped you off as to what one of my guilty pleasures is.

As someone who has had borderline high cholesterol numbers, I try to eat foods that keep it at bay without medications. But as anyone who tries to stick to a diet knows, you have to treat yourself every once in a while. Take a day and splurge, then get back to the good habits the very next day.

I think maybe I’ll celebrate this holiday tomorrow. Maybe I’ll have a Flint-style coney as an appetizer for my Haagen-Daz.
