The Detroit Tigers got off on the right foot for the 2013 Major league season with a 3-2 win yesterday in Minnesota. Tiger's ace Justin Verlander pitched five scoreless innings in picking up the win.Verlander, with his pitch count being supervised, threw 91 pitches before heading to he dugout. he watched as a string of relief pitchers made his win stand up. The Tigers will play two more on the road in Minnesota before returning home for the home opener this Friday against the N. Y. Y
