Jhonny Peralta belted a three-run triple in the 7th inning to help power the Tigers to an 8-3 win over the Seattle Mariners.  Miguel Cabrera and Brennan Boesch both added a pair of hits and drove home a run apiece in the win.

Max Scherzer didn't have his "A" game, but held the Mariners to just two runs in six innings.  As luck would have it, his teammates blew the game open in the top of the seventh to give Scherzer his 3rd win on the season against no losses.

Phil Coke takes the mound for Detroit tonight in game two of the three-game series in Seattle.  You'll need to take a nap if you plan to watch, as the first pitch is scheduled for 10:05 pm.

Go Tigers!
