This was a close game.  A pitcher's duel.  It took 13 innings, but the outcome was still a bitter one for Tiger fans as Cleveland wins in walkoff fashion again, this time 3-2.

The Tigers had plenty of chances.  11 runners left on base.  0 for 9 with runners in scoring position.  Miguel Cabrera and Ryan Raburn each hit solo homers to account for all the Tiger scoring.  A pair of solo homers was all Cleveland could manage through the first six innings as well.  Rick Porcello pitched 7 strong innings and had nothing to show for it.  Reliever Al Alburquerque threw three perfect innings and struck out six, but all for naught.  The Indians got to Brayan Villareal in the 13th, and the Tigers hang their heads again.

The same two teams square off in Cleveland again this afternoon at 1:05, then Detroit heads home for a 4-game series with the Yankees.
