The Tigers losing streak is now at four games, and this one was the ugliest as they fell to Cleveland 9-5.  Carlos Santana hit a walk-off grand slam off Tiger set-up reliever Joquin Benoit to put the exclamation point on Detroit's latest defeat.

The Tigers had leads of 3-0 and 5-2 as late as the 7th inning.  Cleveland has now won 12 games in a row at home.  The Tigers had plenty of opportunities to blow this one open in the early going, but just couldn't seem to get any clutch hits.  They left 10 runners on base and were just 4 for 14 with runners in scoring position.

The Tigers will lick their wounds and try again tomorrow night with a 6:05 starting time in Cleveland.  Rick Porcello will try to stop the Indians and the Tiger skid.  Let's hope he's up to it.

My Tiger has resorted to hiding his head in a paper bag in shame.  Any more losses like this one, and the team might have to follow suit.
