The Tigers have had their issues with winning on the road in recent years.  Perhaps that is about to change.  It did for one night anyway, as Phil Coke got his first win of the season for the Tigers.  Coke scattered three hits over 7 innings as the Tigers shut out the Oakland A's 3-0.

Ryan Rayburn drove in what turned out to be the winning run with a double in the 7th, then his teamates tacked on two more in the 8th on a Ramon Santiago sacrifice fly and a throwing error.

Same two teams go at it again tonight in Oakland.  10 pm first pitch.  Detroit will send Rick Porcello to the mound in search of his first win of the season (he's 0-2 so far).

The Tigers are now riding a 3-game winning streak!
