Thousands Still Without Power in Genesee County

UPDATE: As of 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Consumers Energy said power had been restored to all but 3,200 primarily in the greater Flint and northeast Genesee County areas.

Thousands are still without power in Genesee County after severe storms hit the area Monday.
According to Consumers Energy, the hardest hit areas from yesterday's storms were Flint, Saginaw and Midland. The majority of those without power are in Genesee County - just over 24,000. Consumers says crews worked through the night and hope to have most power restored by 11 p.m. tonight. Updated outage information is available at www.ConsumersEnergy.com/outagemap.
