THIS WEEKEND: Mid-Michigan High School Alumni Hockey Tournament

Proceeds will benefit the Old Newsboys of Flint and the Michigan Youth Hockey Scholarship Fund.

Are you ready for some hockeyyyyyyyyy? It's Michigan, we're always ready for hockey.

This weekend, there are more than 60 games over a 3-day period for you to catch at the Mid-Michigan High School Alumni Tournament at the Polar Palace in Lapeer and the Crystal Fieldhouse in Burton. Over 350 alumni will be playing for their alma maters, with quite a few travelling in from other parts of the country.

Not only that, but it's for a good cause - proceeds will benefit the Old Newsboys of Flint and the Michigan Youth Hockey Scholarship Fund. Cash donations are suggested, or you can donate a backpack and/or a hooded sweatshirt for the Old Newsboys.
