Ground was broken on Monday afternoon on the Frankenmuth Jaycee Spray Park.

The $1 million park will be built at Memorial park, which is just up behind the local schools. They expect it to be open in late July or early August. It will also be in the same spot as the former community pool; it will have 17 different water features including water cannons and water tables...and it's all totally FREE to the public.

The Jaycees were able to raise money for the spray park from grants, private donations and fundraisers. You can still contribute AND get a commemorative brick for your donation; click HERE for more info.

Very cool to do this in a tourist city; something great for all of the locals AND tourists alike!
