The Stanley Cup, awarded to the top team in the the National Hockey League, will soon begin it's annual journey. With teams jockeying for their final playoff position, and hopefully home-ice advantage, it is about to get real interesting. The Vancouver Canucks, with the best record in hockey, have secured home ice advantage throughout the playoffs in the Western Conference. The Red Wings are fighting to maintain their home ice during the first two rounds of the playoff. Should the Red Wings advance to the conference finals, Vancouver will hold the advantage over them.
