If you had less than five years to live, would you want to know? Researchers in California have come up with an online mortality calculator which they thought would benefit doctors, but now sick people, the elderly and others who are curious about the device feel it would be beneficial.

Eprognosis.org displays 16 different methods for determining a person's chance of dying in the near future. Researchers designed it so doctors would have a better idea of determining a patient's treatment if they had this device to go off of as well.

Personally, I wouldn't want to know when I was supposed to die. What about you? Do you like the idea of this calculator?
