Being blind isn't so baaaaaaaad when you've got a good friend to help you out, right? *ba dum ching*

Marcia the goat was born blind at a goat meat farm (didn't know those even existed!). The owner didn't want to care for a special needs animal, so Marcia was transferred to Farm Sanctuary in California, where she could roam free.

However, her blindness left her anxious and scared, especially when she was left alone. Volunteers weren't able to stay with her 24-hours a day, so they hoped that they could find her a companion. That's where Maurice comes in.

Maurice was adopted by the sanctuary from the Puget Sound Goat Rescue, and he and Marcia became instant friends. He now acts as her "seeing eye goat," and volunteers at the farm call them "soulmates."
