"We're family now, we're friends now, our families are families, we've brought our families together."

Heather Clark had to make the decision whether or not to donate her 7-month-old son Lukas' organs when he passed away tragically in 2013 - he was abused by a trusted babysitter's boyfriend and passed away a short time later.

"There is another family out there, somewhere, you know who’s feeling something of what I'm feeling, somewhat, and I have the chance to make them not go through what I'm about to go through," said Clark of her decision.

His organs saved three lives, one of which is 4-year-old Jordan Drake. She had spent most of her short life inside a Phoenix-area hospital, due to a congenital heart defect. Heather got to hear her son's heartbeat inside Jordan for the first time, and was given a teddy bear with an audio recording of the sound inside of it.

Both of the mothers have decided to stay in touch, because they are now "family."
