The Good News: Model Launches Her Own Brand of Flats, Low Heels [VIDEO]

As a woman, let me just say this: PRAISE BE!

Mari Giudicelli grew up in Rio, where she says that she was barefoot almost all of the time. So, when she moved to the States and started modeling, she found it very difficult to wear high heels. She also explains some of the dangers of wearing high heels, too.

Seriously, ladies, why do we wear shoes that we can't wait to take off? What's the point if they hurt our feet?

So she's decided to launch her own brand of flats and low heels, to promote better footwear and foot health on the runway.

Obviously, flats and low heels have been around forever, so this isn't groundbreaking. But it's nice to see somebody on the high end of fashion promoting this, instead of promoting shoes that, eventually, will hurt our bodies.
