The Flint alumni chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi will hand out Thanksgiving turkeys to pre-selected families in need on Monday, November 23rd.

The fraternity, which has been around since 1911, hands out around 100+ turkeys every year.

"Originally, it just began with Walmart-Flint bringing turkeys to us," said Charles Montgomery, one of the past presidents of Kappa Alpha Psi. "Then, when I ran out of room in my house, we started just ordering them from Walmart, and having them kept there."

"There's great care for others in our community. People still want to see Flint do well."

The turkey giveaway will take place at Tucker Elementary in Mt. Morris. You can see pictures from last year's giveaway HERE.
