These two had quite the adventure. Hopefully they learned an important lesson from it!

Tillie and Phoebe, an Irish setter/spaniel and a basset hound, slipped out the back door of their Washington home on September 7th while their owners were having a party. Their owner, B.J. Duft, said, "Tillie would never leave even if the gate was left open, but she's best friends with Phoebe, and so when Phoebe follows her little Basset Hound nose, Tillie always goes with her to make sure she's OK. They're best pals -- inseparable."

Later that week, a community member called a local rescue, stating that a dog had been coming near his property all week long and then retreating back to a ravine. A member of the rescue came out to the property to find that the dog was Tillie, trying to get help for Phoebe, who had fallen into a cistern.

The dogs were hungry and tired, but celebrated with a hamburger dinner when they got home. The owner says that he's ordered GPS collars for them both.

Wouldn't it be nice if people were this faithful? That is some good news!
