Nice job, Rondae. You're a true role model athlete.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is a rookie player for the Brooklyn Nets, and while he can afford to live the lavish NBA lifestyle, he's stayed fairly grounded. He even complained about the ridiculous cost of housing in New York City, and decided to rent an apartment with his basketball player brother and a friend in New Jersey.

So it should be no surprise that he decided to buy his mom a house...instead of himself.

He brought along a videographer to capture the moment that he and his family surprised their mother on her birthday, and it'll make you all vaklempt. What a sweetheart. She said that it was her "best birthday ever."
