Bella, a 43-pound 11-year-old, has learned how to walk with the help of a 131-pound Great Dane named George.

She was born with Morquio syndrome, which affects her bones and limits her mobility. She uses crutches and a wheelchair to get around...until now. Now, she has George, the Great Dane. Bella says she leans on him like a crutch. Literally.

George is a service dog that was trained in Ipswich, Massachusetts. Bella's family adopted him in January, and her mom says that she's much more active now. She plays on the playground and goes to the mall. He's been so influential with her that he's being honored by the American Kennel Club with the "Award for Canine Excellence."

The relationship of these two is just making our hearts melt!
