I am in charge of desserts for a lot of my family parties. My mom is a great baker but is usually task with important dinner items, so desserts get passed to me. I love to bake, but there are times where I just don't have the time to make something extravagant.

I stumbled across this quick and easy dessert recipe a few years ago and make it pretty regularly. It requires two ingredients: pretzels and Hershey Kisses. You can get fancy and use Rolo's instead of Hershey Kisses, or M & M's instead of the top pretzel, but it is also delicious with the two simple ingredients.

The steps are simple. Put a piece of parchment paper (or tin foil) on a baking sheet and preheat your oven to 250. You can do multiple baking sheets at one time to speed up the process even more.

Lay the pretzels out on the baking sheet.

This step takes the longest because you have to unwrap all the Kisses. Place one Hershey's Kiss on top of each pretzel. Once this is done you will throw them in the oven at 250 degrees for 3 to 4 minutes. You just want to bake them long enough that the Kisses soften.

Once you take them out of the oven place a second pretzel on top of the Hershey's Kiss. If you want them to be more festive for Christmas, you could use red and green M & M's instead of the top pretzel.

Let them cool before you put them in a bowl so the softened chocolate doesn't stick together. If you are as impatient as I am, just throw them in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes until the chocolate is hard again.

The hardest part is not eating them all before you take them to a party.
