Yesterday was a BEAUTIFUL day for the Walk for Autism, benefitting the Autism Support and Resource Center.

We were honored to be the emcees for the 12th annual Walk for Autism at Bicentennial Park in Grand Blanc yesterday. So glad that the weather cooperated - it's rained the last two years. Yesterday was sunny, cool and full of positivity.

Our son Dillon was diagnosed with autism when he was in preschool. We were just like so many other parents - angry, confused, sad, worried, and lost. We didn't know where to turn for support. At the time, we were living in Wisconsin, in an area that didn't have a lot of resources for us.

Since we've moved here to Michigan, we've become involved with the ASRC and couldn't be happier that Genesee County has an organization like this. Thank you to Anne, Amy and all of the other autism angels who make this possible.

Thanks for coming, and we'll see you next year!
