Four ladies take over the TV on September 14, 1985, and the rest is history!

I don't care what you think me, but just know this. I love "The Golden Girls" and on this date in 1985 this show premiered on television. The series starred Estelle Gettyy, Bea Arthur, Betty White, and Rue McClanahan where these ladies shared a Miami home and was the funniest show on TV hands down!

I remember watching "The Golden Girls" as a kid and thinking, "Being an older woman is going to be the most awesome time of my life!" I still think that and know that I'm a total Dorothy. To celebrate, enjoy a super-cut of Dorothy's (Bea Arthur) sarcasm. Thank you for being a friend!
