A Tennessee school is in hot water after serving 6-year-old pork to its students.

A lunchroom worker at Joseph Rogers Primary School in Hawkins County sent a picture of some pretty unappetizing-looking pork to a county commissioner...who also has a child that attends school there. After further inspection, they found out that the meat was in a package labeled 2009.

The pork roast was not served at that particular school, but it was served at other local schools. One school even made gravy to cover up the taste. However, there are no reports of children becoming sick from it.
