Ford achieved an amazing milestone today as the ten millionth Mustang rolled off the assembly line at its Flat Rock manufacturing plant.

In the video below, you'll see 60 cars representing 54 model years of Stangs, and be sure to pay particular attention to the commas used as the number 10,000,000 is formed in the parking lot. Those commas are the first and the latest -- number 10,000,000 --  Mustangs produced by Ford.

Carl Wadman, Chief Engineer for Ford tells WJBK that the Mustang has been an iconic brand that has meant a great deal to many generations of car owners.

"It's a big celebration for everybody who's ever driven one, anybody whose family's had one; we've got people who have had cars in the family for three generations."
