Team Trip to See The Pros: Detroit Pistons Don’t Disappoint [VIDEO]

At the end of their regular season, my son's basketball coach put together an awesome team trip to Auburn Hills to watch the Detroit Pistons live in action! Due to unfortunate circumstances the coach wasn't able to go, and I gladly offered to pick up his boys to meet up with the team. It was my first time seeing a live Pistons game since the days of Isaiah Thomas, Joe Dumars and Bill Laimbeer, and it was Ben's first time ever!

Even though Ben was there with his fourth-grade friends, I was surprised how not embarrassed by me he was. I mean this is me we're talking about. I embarrass myself all the time! But it was a ton of fun to watch him and his team rooting for the players and shouting "Defense!" I also marveled at how much The Palace has changed since my last game.

In the end, the Pistons creamed the Trailblazers by 20 points with a 123-103 win! Go Pistons, and congrats on a great season, kids!
