Taylor Swift is set to connect directly with fans and make a big announcement on Monday, Aug. 13 at 7PM ET via a live webcast on her official YouTube channel. Swift revealed the news of the chat via an online teaser video and a press release today (Aug. 7.)

She is amping up excitement for her upcoming album, the follow up to ‘Speak Now.’ So if you are a Swiftie, this is your chance to go one-on-one with her. How exciting! She will be answering questions and talking to fans directly and in real time.

It’s not lost on us that the chat takes place on Aug. 13 since it’s the ‘Mean’ singer’s lucky number. It’s even attached to her Twitter handle, which is @taylorswift13.

In the teaser video, she says, in her typical perky, cheerful manner, “Hey, it’s Taylor. So I really want to talk to you about something. I would love it if you would join me Aug. 13 for a live webchat. You can ask questions. I want to share some news with you, some really cool news. Not gonna go into it too much, but it’s cool. I’ll see you there.”

Something tells us she will reveal either the release date or the title of her new album or both! We are dying for more deets on! Aug. 13 cannot get here soon enough. Consider this our RSVP, Taylor!

Fans can submit questions via a live social chat during the live stream. A Google+ Hangout will also be in place for the event. So all the social media bases are being covered. The webcast takes place here and here. So bookmark those pages now and make yourself a note. You do not want to miss this.

In other Swift news, her budding relationship (which she has yet to confirm, despite rampant media reports and photographic evidence) with Conor Kennedy continues to be met with approval from his famous political family. His older half-sister Kathleen, aka “Kick,” gushed about Swift at the Aug. 2 ‘Total Recall’ afterparty, saying, “I love her, she’s great.”

Kick, an actress who appears on HBO series ‘The Newsroom,’ also said that Tay’s relationship with Conor, the grandson of Robert F. Kennedy and the son of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., is “very real,” according to Hollywood Life. Aw, we’re glad to hear it. Swift deserves some romantic happiness.
