This morning, we talked to Chef Eric Villegas who's going to be making 10 recipes at our Taste of Home Cooking School event which takes place in a few weeks at Perani Arena. If you attended last year's event, you may remember Chef Eric doing a little demo at the expo and he had actually never heard of Taste of Home:

"Last year I came and did a little demo at the expo but had never heard of Taste of Home, so I didn't know why I was there. I was supporting my cook book and show. I was so enamored with Taste of Home that they hired me a week later and here I am."

Of course we wanted to know what to expect at the show and Chef Eric gave us a preview of some of the recipes he'll be cooking:

"Just to start, we're going to make a pumpkin whoopie pie with stuffed candy ginger cream cheese frosting. We're also going to make pork loin sliders as well as fun things like a chocolate blast for the holidays."

I don't know about you, but I'm getting really hungry just mentioning some of these recipes you'll learn how to make at the event. Tickets are still available so if you want to have some fun while learning some new recipes for the holidays, join us at Perani Arena on Thursday, November 10. We look forward to seeing you at Taste of Home.  If you missed us talking to Chef Eric earlier, you can catch the entire interview below.
