Tonight on ‘X Factor,’ the remaining five contestants performed not one, but two songs for a spot in the semi-finals. The show started off with a bang courtesy of vocal powerhouse Melanie Amaro. For her first performance, the contestant, who is one of two left on Simon Cowell‘s team, was challenged to perform a dance song, and she chose to tackle a remixed version of Adele‘s ‘Someone Like You.’ Am

Rachel Crow might have earned herself a spot in the ‘X Factor‘ semi-finals tonight with two strong performances on the show. The teen is only one of five contestants left in the competition, and she proved that she was in it to win it with her first song, which was a lively rendition of Bruno Mars‘ hit tune ‘Nothin’ on You.’

For those of you who watched 'X Factor' last night, what did you think? It does have similar traits as 'American Idol' but I still enjoyed the show. It was great seeing Paula and Simon back together again and she seemed sober which is always a good thing. I also liked L.A. Reid and think he's going to be a nice edition to the show.
