Warrior Dash Will Return To Flint

Despite the paralysis of a Hope College student at the inaugural Warrior Dash in Flint, and the death of two participants the same weekend at a Warrior Dash in Kansas City, the obstacle course race will return to Genesee County next year. The Parks & Recreation Commission took just moments to approve a new contract on Thursday.

So you've probably heard about the Warrior Dash by now, which is a three mile obstacle course taking place in Mt. Morris at the end of the month. Originally it was only supposed to be held on Saturday, but since it was so popular they added an extra day on Sunday. A recent press release says they expect 25,000 participants to compete with wave times every half hour, starting at 9am.
