Barbara Walters has named her Most Fascinating Person of 2011: Steve Jobs.

While her policy has always been to choose only living people for the annual roundup, Walters said that when Jobs retired as CEO of Apple last summer, she knew he’d be her pick to top the list. And even after his death on October 5, Walters stuck to her choice because, much like Jobs believed, “rules were made to be broken.”

It's a bonus sketch taped during dress rehearsal, in which host Charlie Rose discusses the legacy of the late Apple CEO Steve Jobs with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Arianna Huffington from the Huffington Post, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings, and Rupert Murdoch.

That didn't take long. The Discovery Channel is working on a tribute to Apple Co-Founder Steve Jobs, who passed away last week. The special will be hosted by "Mythbusters" stars Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman. "iGenius: How Steve Jobs Changed The World" airs this Sunday, October 16th at 9pm.
