The day has finally come where people have flocked to Davison High School for a chance to see Tim. The Flint Journal reports the event honoring him will start at 1pm.

Davison's Tim Thomas Wins Stanley Cup MVP

Davison High School graduate Tim Thomas helped lead the Boston Bruins to their first Stanley Cup Championship in 39 years. Not only did Thomas play brilliantly in goal against the Vancouver Canucks, but he was named the Most Valuable Player of the series. Thomas recorded his second shutout of the series with a 4-0 game seven win. It was the first Stanley Cup Championship for Boston since 1972.
