That's when we leave Daylight Saving Time and go back to Standard Time.

The official change takes place Sunday Nov. 6 at 2 a.m., but most people reset their clocks as they go to bed Saturday night.

Fire experts are quick to remind us to use the occasion as a reminder to change smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector batteries.

Officially, the change from Daylight Savings Time to Standard Time happens at 2:00 am on Sunday, November 6th. At that point, you are to set your clocks back one hour. It is also recommended that you change the batteries in your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors at this time.
