After months of above normal temps for winter in Michigan, Saturday looks to be a chilly one. A perfect day to go for a dip in Lake Fenton. For someone to do something silly like jumping in a lake in Michigan in February, there had better be a really good reason for it. There is, a really "special" reason. The Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge will benefit Special Olympics of Michigan. The festivities begin on Friday at the Fenton Moose Lodge with a pre-plunge party and registration starting at 6 pm.
Doing something completely crazy for a noble cause makes it okay. Jumping into Lake Fenton in February qualifies as certifiably crazy. Doing it to help raise money for Special Olympics, and knowing that you won't be the only one makes it seem like the "right thing to do". The Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge will take place on Saturday, February 11th at the Fenton Moose Lodge on Lake Fenton.
Sure, you could take the Polar Plunge to raise money for the Michigan Special Olympics, but there's an easier way: Eat at Buffalo Wild Wings on Monday.

You can wear your Speedo or your tutu. The crazier, the better for the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge this Saturday, February 12th at the Moose Lodge on Lake Fenton. Registration begins at noon, the first plunger at 1:13 pm, post-plunge party and awards ceremony at 2 pm
Are you brave enough to take the "Polar Plunge"? If you're too chicken, that's OK. You can eat chicken, and have the same effect!
Buffalo Wild Wings across Michigan, including the Flint-area locations on Linden Road, Holly Road in Grand Blanc, and Silver Lake Road in Fenton, are hosting a fundraiser for the Michigan Special Olympics' Polar Plunge.
