Special Olympics Polar Plunge Saturday in Lake Fenton
February 7, 2012 After months of above normal temps for winter in Michigan, Saturday looks to be a chilly one. A perfect day to go for a dip in Lake Fenton. For someone to do something silly like jumping in a lake in Michigan in February, there had better be a really good reason for it. There is, a really "special" reason. The Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge will benefit Special Olympics of Michigan. The festivities begin on Friday at the Fenton Moose Lodge with a pre-plunge party and registration starting at 6 pm.
