Some SNL hosts just feel like they were born to be on that stage and Zach Galifiankis is one of them. Rather than do a traditional monologue, he performed six minutes of his oddball, avant garde stand-up comedy. It was a great reminder that he may be a big movie star now, but he's still one of the great modern comedians.

May will no doubt prove to be one of 'SNL's' biggest months in years, with the recent announcements of alumni Kristen Wiig and 'Argo's' Ben Affleck to host, but this Saturday's all-new installment featuring 'The Hangover Part 3' star Zach Galifianakis and Of Monsters and Men will certainly kick things off right. Saturday Night Livet took on the biggest fight in Washington on Saturday night by looking down the barrel of gun control. With their usual humorous flair, they made both sides of the issues seem a little over the top.

Saturday Night Live came up with a plan for the Pope. You can't go into retirement without a plan, can you?  Thus, SNL created a fake commercial for a service company that helps Popes plan for their retirement. Since it only happens every 600 years or so, maybe we needed a refresher. Have a look and prepare to laugh.

Sadly, this SNL skit never aired, but it's one of the funniest we've seen in a long time. It features Adam Levine as himself, taking on a slew of other musicians in a good old fashioned rumble.

Long-running sketch comedy 'Saturday Night Live' kicked off its 38th season over the weekend with some new cast members, and an incredible host, Seth MacFarlane. Known for his cartoon hits 'Family Guy,' 'American Dad,' 'The Cleveland Show,' and his recent movie 'Ted,' Seth started the show with a great monologue featuring many of the voices that made him famous, and a few others.

Patricia Krentcil, the New Jersey mom accused of taking her five-year-old daughter to the tanning salon, has given a (dark brown) thumbs up to Kristen Wiig's impersonation of her on 'Saturday Night Live'.

Rolling Stones' frontman, Mick Jagger will be the host and performer on the season finale of Saturday Night Live later this month.
