He played high school hoops at Lansing Everett, college at MSU (where he helped the Spartans win a national championship), then went on to a Hall of Fame career in the NBA with the Los Angeles Lakers. There is a statue of Johnson in front of the L.A. Staples Center. Now, the Spartan/Laker legend will be a regular sight in the owner's box at Dodger games.
