Tiger ace Justin Verlander will be making an appearance at Jim Waldron Buick-GMC in Davison on Thursday from 1:30-3pm. The first 500 people will get an autographed photo of Verlander and 50 fans will be invited to a private reception with Verlander from 12:20-1pm.

Justin Verlander was dominant tonight.  He pitched 8 innings, struck out 10, and the only run Seattle scored came on a wild pitch in the 5th inning.  The Tigers also decided to do all of their damage in the 5th

Justin Verlander pitched like he was trying to stop a losing streak.  His teammates gave him some early run support, and it was enough for the Tigers to split a day-night doubleheader with a 3-0 win in the second game.

Justin Verlander flirted with history for six and 2/3rds innings.  After throwing a no-hitter last Saturday in Toronto, Verlander held the Kansas City Royals hitless until deep into the sixth inning.

Justin Verlander had all of his pitches working today.  The Tigers scored runs early and often, and the defense made some plays to help him to his second career no-hitter, just the 7th in Tiger history.  It was almost a perfect game

Justin Verlander didn't have his best command.  But he pitched a gutsy 6 innings and only allowed 3 runs to the Yankees while striking out 8.  He was still throwing 99 and 100 mph, 130 pitches into the game.

The Seattle Mariners were one of the weakest hitting teams in baseball.  Until they came to Detroit, that is.  After thumping the Tigers 7-3 Tuesday, Seattle Smoaked the Motor City Kitties 10-1 tonight.  Justin Verlander gave up a 3-run homer to

Detroit's Phil Coke is Seattle's favorite pitcher.  The Mariners have only scored 85 runs so far this season, 13 have come in 2 games when they faced the Tigers and Coke was pitching.  To make matters worse, the Tigers haven't  beaten Mariner starter Felix Hernandez in quite some time.

It was a cold, rainy night at Comerica Park.  Justin Verlander gave up three solo home runs (two to Carlos Quentin), but lit up the radar gun and the rest of the White Sox hitters all night to lead Detroit to a win over Chicago.

The Tigers had their ace, Justin Verlander on the mound.  Usually that gives them a better than average chance to win.  So far this season, they haven't given him much help.

You had to stay up late to see most of action in this one, but it was worth it!  Miguel Cabrera hit a solo home run in the top of the ninth to tie the game up at 1-1 to send it into extra innings.

The Tigers lost their 3rd game in a row at Comerica Park today, 2-0 to the Texas Rangers.  Justin Verlander pitched a complete game for Detroit, but got no help from his offense.
