Rumors of Jennifer Lopez supposedly leaving ‘American Idol‘ flooded every kind of news wave imaginable. Yet Aerosmith frontman and ‘Idol’ judge Steven Tyler was the first to announce his exit from the reality show competition. And, as we all know now, Lopez followed suit soon after and confirmed her departure from the show.

I don't believe the headline, but as "American Idol" gets ready for season 10 quite a few "Idol" viewers have a different opinion.  In a new poll, 47% of regular viewers said they would definitely or probably watch it.   However, 67% of those taking part in the poll (for the Hollywood reporter) said they thought the best days of the TV singing competition were over...
