"Hometown Heroes" is a non-profit organization that provides every individual with medical equipment and supplies at no cost, so that they may lead a healthy and independent life. They pledge to find the equipment for free or at a low cost. Items available include walkers, wheelchairs, canes, lift beds, diabetic supplies, bed rails, grab bars, shower chairs, feeding tube equipment, and more.
