It's that time of year, and that favorite little jar of your moms actually has some other uses as well.

For as long as I can remember, anytime I've seen someone hit their thumb with a hammer, I cringe and think to myself, "My God!! That has really gotta hurt!!!" After what I did last night I thought to myself, "At least I was right!"

Some of these home remedies are simply ridiculous, yet work. Others? Not so much.
