Groundhog Day in Michigan has been postponed. You didn't want to head out into all that snow to see if you could see your shadow, so why should the groundhog?

Because February is so much more than just Hollywood’s “dump month.”

Because why not?

In an era of HD Doppler Radar, supercomputers and an army of meteorologists, people still seem to care if Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow on February 2nd. The small town of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania will conduct the 126th annual Groundhog Day ceremony tomorrow morning.

You wouldn't know it by looking outside right now, but the world's famous groundhog failed to see his shadow, which means we're almost done with winter!
