Now, there is a petition circulating for the government to do the same thing for "Hostess", the company that makes Twinkies. Now, <a href="http://thefw.com/hostess-shutting-down/">with Hostess Brands closing up shop and heading for liquidation</a>, some folks want President Obama to bail out the junk food industry.</p>
<p>The petition to <a href="https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/nationalize-twinkie-industry/cJz0ngJR" target="_blank">"Nationalize the Twinkie industry</a>." was started by a gentleman in Kansas City. The petition is posted on an official government website, "We The People". Interested in signing?.  </p>
