The Department of Justice has announced that they've charged Sohyl Halloun the former Shorthorn Meat Market owner and a few others with wire fraud and a few other terrible things.
The U.S Attorney’s office says that Halloun or his employees either directly provided money to the food stamp recipients in exchange for their benefits or engaged in another scheme that involved other co-conspirators and
Welfare fraud is probably more prevalent than we even want to know. A Seattle woman is living in a $1.2 million home, and receiving welfare benefits.
Authorities are investigating, but have not yet charged the woman who is collecting $1,272 per month for housing, as well as federal and state disability payments and food stamps.
