The roller-coaster that is known as the "emergency manager" is still rolling in Flint. Six different locations in downtown Flint will display art objects that you can enjoy and possibly take home with you. It's the ninth annual Cool City Art Auction, which raises money for a half dozen local art organizations. Tickets to the event are $25 in advance, $30 at the door, which entitles you to admission, food, drinks and entertainment at each venue. Hours of the event are from 5-10 pm.

It is scheduled from 5-11pm tomorrow night with talented local jazz musicians playing the clubs downtown. The White House isn't giving up on President Obama's jobs bill, which has stalled in the Senate. Visiting a fire department in Flint, Vice President Joe Biden said the jobs bill would help save the jobs of police and firefighters.
Biden said he and the President will continue to "go over the heads" of lawmakers and take their case directly to the American people.
