Flint Water Emergency

In the latest development in the Flint Water Crisis, more emails reveal that the State of Michigan was sending bottled water to a state building in Flint way back in January of 2015.

“The residents are caught in a swirl of misinformation and long term distrust of local government unlikely to be resolved.”

It's heartbreaking to watch a well-respected, global news outlet talk about your home town, and see one of your co-workers talking about high lead levels in her kids. Absolutely heartbreaking!

'The Daily Show' has always called out BS no matter where in the world it happens, even if it's in our own backyard... or kitchen sink.

What's happening and will continue to happen in Flint is by no means a laughing matter. But as many comedians will tell you, comedy is a way to get through pain and hardship. That being said, Flint needs to laugh... a lot!

"If this was the way we got here, if this is what happened to the kids in Flint and why, if this is how the state government did it, and how they behaved once they knew what they had done, would you want that same state government in charge of fixing this?"

Officials haven't confirmed a connection between spikes in Legionnaires’ Disease and the Flint Water Crisis. But the disease has already killed 10 in Genesee County since the switch to Flint River water.
